Brittany Porterfield

Brittany is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and licensed with the Virginia Board of Medicine. Brittany received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at George Mason University in 2016. Shortly after she became an RBT in 2017 working with individuals with Autism in the home and clinic setting. She attended Florida Institute of Technology to obtain her BCaBA in 2019, to later continue her ABA career to receive a Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University. She received her BCBA in April 2021.

Her passion is creating individualized treatment plans and promoting meaningful outcomes for her clients and client families. She loves being able to watch her clients learn and grow as they gain new social and verbal skills. Brittany believes that caregiver involvement is such an important part of ABA therapy because it gives parents/caregivers the tools and skills to make connections with their child. Brittany’s primary area of interest involves increasing independent living skills and verbal behavior.

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two fur babies—Boone and Sonny.

Jana Johnson

Hi, I’m Jana (juh-nay) Johnson! I am a fairly new BCBA and have been practicing ABA for approximately four years providing in-home and clinic-based services as a Registered Behavior Technician. I am originally from Charlotte, NC, where I started my journey in ABA and fell in love with the field. I enjoy getting to know my clients and using silly and fun approaches to encourage learning. In my free time, I enjoy walking nature trails, playing sports, engaging in any water activity, and rocking out on my drum pad. I look forward to meeting you!

Eva Thorpe

Eva has been working within the disability community since the day her younger brother with Down syndrome was born. She has been working in the field of ABA for seven years and received her Masters in Special Education from George Mason University. Within ABA, she focuses heavily on ethical practices and promoting self-advocacy skills in her clients. Outside of work, she founded and ran a non-profit community theater in Woodbridge that focuses on inclusion in the performing arts. She also enjoys taking her dog on hikes, costuming musicals, and trying to find the worst low-budget films on Amazon.

Annie Nguyen BCBA

Annie started working with children and teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities the summer before beginning at Radford University. While earning her Bachelor's degree, she continued to work with this population. After graduation, she started her Master's program and entered the world of ABA as an RBT. Annie has been in the field of ABA since 2016 and now has her M.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University.

As a BCBA, Annie has continued to work with young children and teens with autism and other developmental disabilities, as well as helping families learn about ABA.
